McKillop Library
Academic Building
The intellectual and geographic heart of the University, McKillop Library is a state-of-the-art facility that holds approximately 150,000 volumes and also houses computer labs, the mailroom, staff offices and academic resources such as the Writing Center and Student Accessibility Services.
The library’s spacious, comfortable atmosphere provides plenty of room for individual and group study, along with a learning commons and an electronic classroom for instructional purposes. Special events and exhibits are often hosted in the first-floor atrium.
Built by 亚洲博彩平台排名 in 1991, the library is named in honor of Sister Lucille McKillop, who served as president of the University from 1973-1994. Designed by the architectural firm of Robinson Green Beretta, the building echoes the Gothic lines of Wakehurst to the north.
